CED Weeks
The Baffin Regional Chamber of Commerce coordinates a Trade Exhibition & Job Fair as a key component to Community Economic Development (CED) Weeks held in communities throughout the Baffin region.
The event brings together key business, government and Inuit organizations to discuss and promote business development, community economic development, career opportunities, youth entrepreneurship, Junior Achievement and Chambers of Commerce. During the week there are other community events that usually include a Skills Canada Nunavut competition, community feast and more.

- Career opportunities and guidance
- Post-secondary academic and training information
- Small business start-up and support information
- Northern business booths including a highlight on “Youth Role Model Business”
- Introduction and promotion of the Junior Achievement program
- Funding program information
- Community economic development information
- Chamber of Commerce information and assistance

All are welcome to participate. There is no cost associated with participating in these events. Participants only need to cover their own travel and meal expenses. Charters are planned from Iqaluit for each CED Week and the cost is shared among participants equally.
This event is an excellent opportunity for your organization to meet with the communities and discuss and promote economic development at the community level while promoting your businesses. The BRCC hopes that you will be able to attend and support this event.
