For over 15 years, the Baffin Regional Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) has been presenting the annual business achievement awards to worthy recipients across the territory.  Since 1999, those awards have been called the Nunavut Business Achievement Awards. 

The BRCC is again inviting individuals and businesses to submit nominations for this year’s awards. Your nominations must be received by 5:00 pm on September 3, 2010 in order to be eligible for consideration.  

We are seeking nominations from across Nunavut in the four categories listed below. The awards will be presented on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 during the Nunavut Business Achievement Awards reception at the Discovery Lodge Hotel in Iqaluit during the 2010 Nunavut Trade Show & Conference. 

 

Please download the nomination form and submit to BRCC as soon as possible.

Travel and accommodations for the recipients of the awards will be provided by the BRCC.  

 

Business of the Year  

This award is for a business that made a significant positive impact during 2009. The nominee should be known for being a good corporate citizen and for reflecting well on the entire business climate in the territory. 

 Business Person of the Year
This award is for an individual who has achieved something out of the ordinary during 2009 and who has a positive influence in the business community.  

Lifetime Achievement Award 
This award recognizes the long-term commitment of an individual to the business community. 

 Special Achievement Award
This award is for an individual, business or group who has displayed extraordinary success or innovation in their economic development
