A chamber of change
These are important times in Nunavut. The way we live and work in this region is in constant transformation, and in that sense the BRCC is a chamber of change. We call ourselves a Chamber of Commerce because our work is to make commerce happen — through business growth and attraction, and through the advocacy that improves conditions for business here.
The value of membership
There is power in the partnership of our members. You cannot put a dollar figure on the referrals, business leads, political contacts, marketing services, economic development projects and research that your Chamber carries out on behalf of the Baffin business community.
How the Chamber is funded
The Chamber is funded principally by membership dues, project management and administration fees, and the proceeds of the annual Nunavut Trade Show & Conference. That work goes toward a healthy economic climate — good jobs, capital creation, and honest, efficient government. Our strength lies in the number and diversity of our membership.
The Baffin Regional Chamber of Commerce is located in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
Constitution and by-laws
The Chamber is governed by its constitution and by-laws, adopted in 2009.
